The third edition of the World Water Day (WWD) Ideation Challenge 2025, organized by L&T EduTech in collaboration with L&T Construction’s Water & Effluent Treatment IC, witnessed enthusiastic participation from 258 teams, including students from colleges across India and L&T’s GETs/PGETs. Focused on Carbon Neutrality, Water Conservation, and the Way Forward, the challenge provided a platform for young innovators to propose sustainable solutions.
After two rigorous rounds, five teams advanced to the Grand Finale held at L&T Construction HQ, Chennai, on March 24, 2025. The finalists presented well-researched, practical, and scalable solutions, impressing the jury with their creativity and execution.

3rd Place: Retro Wave | Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering
The winners were felicitated during the World Water Day celebrations by Ms. Febin M F., Head – College Connect, L&T EduTech, alongside esteemed leaders from L&T WET-IC.
A heartfelt congratulations to all the participants for their innovative contributions and sincere gratitude to the jury members for their time and expertise throughout the competition. While the challenge has concluded, but the journey towards sustainability and water conservation continues.
