L&T EduTech and LTIMindtree recently hosted the “Train-the-Trainer” (TTT) program on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science, aiming to equip educators with knowledge of the latest trends in these fields. The event took place from 27th to 29th November 2024 at L&T’s headquarters in Manapakkam, Chennai, and brought together educators, industry professionals, and thought leaders from prominent universities.
The TTT program provided an opportunity for faculty members to gain insights into the growing fields of AI, ML, and Data Science, and to explore how they can incorporate these topics into their teaching. The sessions focused on sharing industry practices, hands-on exercises, and practical applications, helping educators bring a fresh perspective to their classrooms.
Educators from several renowned universities, including NMIMS Mumbai, VIT Vellore, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Bhubaneswar, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education Coimbatore, Rajalakshmi Engineering College Chennai, UEM University, and VIT Chennai, took part in the event. The program included workshops and discussions that emphasized the practical, real-world uses of AI, ML, and Data Science in an accessible way.
The success of this program highlights the importance of aligning academic initiatives with industry developments. As the educators return to their institutions, they are better positioned to share valuable insights with their students and inspire the next wave of innovation in these dynamic fields.
