Thursday, 4 May 2023

L&T EduTech, a pioneer in industry-led application-based engineering and technology courses in the Indian higher education space, has signed an MoU to partner with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) to offer courses and modules oriented towards practical applications in the industry along with case studies to UWM students. The courses will focus on emerging areas of technology, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain and cybersecurity.

The partnership between UWM and L&T EduTech also includes the offering of online synchronous bootcamps to UWM students. These bootcamps are designed to provide students with a hands-on learning experience, allowing them to apply the concepts they learn in class to real-world scenarios.

One of the key highlights of the partnership is the joint development of courses in emerging areas of technology. UWM and L&T EduTech will work together to create these courses, which will be made available to both parties as well as third parties. This will allow other institutions to benefit from the combined expertise and knowledge of the two organisations.

Speaking about the partnership, Dr Deependra Jha, Chief Academic Officer of L&T EduTech said, “We are excited to collaborate with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. By co-creating content, we wish to bring the best of industry and academia to the learners and give them access to courses and modules that have been built by experts in both fields. The objective is to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the fast-paced and ever-changing world of technology.”

The partnership between UWM and L&T EduTech is a testament to the growing importance of technology in education. As technology continues to transform the way we live and work, it is essential that students are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the digital age. By offering industry-led courses, modules and bootcamps, UWM and L&T EduTech are helping students to stay ahead of the curve and prepare for the future.
