Shivamogga, 22 July 2024 – L&T EduTech is excited to announce its collaboration with JNN College of Engineering (JNNCE), Shivamogga, to introduce innovative integrated programs in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. As part of this partnership, L&T EduTech will establish a state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence (COE) on the JNNCE campus, aimed at shaping the future of the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry.
The signing ceremony took place at the Satish Dhawan Seminar Hall, JNNCE, and was attended by esteemed dignitaries from both institutions. Representing JNNCE were Dr Y Vijaya Kumar, Principal; Dr P Manjunatha, Dean Academics; Dr SV Satyanarayana, Dean Research and Head of E&C Department; Dr E Basavaraj, Professor & Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering; Dr Basappaji KM, Professor & Head of the Department of Robotics & AI; Dr HB Suresh, Professor & Head of the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering; and Dr Amith Kumar SJ, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
On behalf of L&T EduTech, Febin M F, Head of CollegeConnect, and Mayank Ranjan, Senior Manager Institutional Connect, were present to formalise the agreement.
This partnership is set to revolutionise the educational landscape at JNNCE by integrating cutting-edge industry practices into the curriculum, particularly focusing on the Electric Vehicle sector. The new programs will equip students with the necessary technical and practical skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for successful careers in the evolving engineering industry.
The Centre of Excellence at JNNCE will serve as a hub for innovation and hands-on learning, providing students with access to the latest technologies and industry insights. This initiative underscores L&T EduTech’s commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry, fostering a new generation of skilled engineers ready to take on the challenges of the future.
