L&T Digital Energy Solutions, in collaboration with L&T EduTech, hosted a National-level Hackathon “Ideation Challenge 2023”. This innovative approach was to generate ideas and foster creativity which aimed to modernise the power system. The goal of the challenge was to bring young minds to come up with new software-based ideas and solutions to the identified problems that can be implemented in the real world.
The event encouraged students to brainstorm and develop creative solutions, explore cutting-edge technologies, and gain exposure to a wide range of topics related to Renewables, Grid Stability, AR/VR/Metaverse and Computer Vision. The students from UG / PG / PHD backgrounds were given the opportunity to take up a problem statement of their choice pertaining to one of the given themes. The participants were encouraged to think out of the box and provide a creative solution to the problem statements.
The Grand Finale was conducted on 28 April, 2023 at L&T’s Headquarters in Manapakkam, Chennai, and was a huge success with the top 15 teams presenting their ideas and solutions to a panel of judges. The event provided an opportunity for the participants to interact with industry experts and showcase their creativity and knowledge, making it an excellent platform for anyone looking to gain experience and build valuable connections through networking and mentorship.
