Faculty Immersion Program 2025: AI Bootcamp for Senior Faculty
Event Overview
As AI continues to reshape the world, L&T EduTech is placing India’s educators at the forefront of this transformation. The latest edition of its Faculty Immersion Program (FIP) – AI Bootcamp for Senior Educators, held from 26–29 May 2025 at L&T Headquarters in Chennai, brought together senior faculty from top institutions for a four-day deep dive into AI, ML and GenAI.
Day 1: Foundations in AI
The program opened with a welcome and ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by a keynote from M F Febin, Head – L&T EduTech, who shared the company’s vision for bridging academia with emerging technologies. Participants were introduced to real-world AI use cases and gained hands-on experience with Python, data handling and visualisation.

Day 2: Machine Learning in Practice
With the basics in place, Day 2 focused on building and training machine learning models. Faculty explored data preprocessing techniques and implemented classification models using tools like KNIME.

Day 3: Exploring GenAI and Industry Trends
Day 3 blended technical depth with industry insights. From neural networks and TensorFlow to generative AI tools, participants tackled real-world challenges in NLP and computer vision. Industry leaders offered valuable perspectives on AI’s role in digital transformation and education.

Day 4: Presenting Outcomes and Partnerships
The final day celebrated collaboration and innovation. On the final day, participants presented group projects that applied their learnings to create practical, industry-relevant AI solutions. The program concluded with certificates, testimonials and a vote of thanks by Abhay Sankar, International Business & Channel Partner, L&T EduTech.
