About the Course
Ethics is integral to understand the basic conduct of humans, both professional and personal. Most professionals often face dilemmas in vital decision making. It is necessary for professionals to abide by certain codes of conduct as well as have a clear understanding of what is right and wrong, legal and illegal, in the professional sphere to ensure a healthy and safe environment. By extension, it is important that professionals are made aware of the laws of the land to understand the legal implications of their conduct. From a public policy perspective, it becomes all the more essential for them to have a basic understanding of laws that affect them, their conduct, and their interaction with government and society.
This course is structured keeping in mind the need to familiarize the learners with various laws they would be required to apply in their professional life on a day-to-day basis. The contents of the course are divided into lessons that deal with various areas of law; such as:

• Study on Intellectual Property Rights and taxation

Each lesson is structured keeping in mind that the learners, do not have a background in law. For this purpose, the course aims to break down the complex legal principles into simple concepts with illustrations that make these concepts more easily understandable and relatable.
