As we know, “Water is Life!” and access to safe water is essential for healthy communities. In many parts of the world, women and girls are primarily responsible for collecting and managing water. Limited access to safe water and sanitation affects their health, education, and opportunities. The theme of World Water Day 2026 – “Water and Gender” highlights the need to address these inequalities. Improving equitable access to water can empower women and strengthen communities. Ensuring inclusive and sustainable water solutions is vital for a better future. In this challenge, participants need to come up with ideas based on the following categories:

  • Mitigations/offset strategies for Ammonia in drinking water
  • Technologies for Water Neutrality in household
  • Integrating smart technologies in water distribution and carrier systems
  • Affordable household water quality sensing and filtration
  • AI Driven Water management
  • Robust Radio Frequency Survey for IoT Connectivity Across Vast Farm fields
Ideas will be given scores based on Technical and Financial Feasibility and Impact made by the idea.
