Who can volunteer?
Any employee (including practitioners, managers, leaders and domain experts) from L&T and its group companies with a willingness to contribute towards any/all of the areas for volunteering mentioned above.

Why should I volunteer?
Larsen and Toubro, through its L&T EduTech, is on a mission to bridge the skill gap between academia and industry. This volunteering program is aimed at building micro-resources with your contribution that will be offered to Indian youth.
How can I become a volunteer?
You can register to become a volunteer by submitting your contact details and choosing one or more causes/areas that you are passionate about volunteering for.
How much of my time would I need to spend volunteering?
You can spend one to two hours a month or whenever you can fit volunteering with us into your schedule.
Is it okay if I can only volunteer virtually/online?
Yes, most of our volunteer programs are hybrid. So, if you are constrained and can only volunteer virtually/online, our team will find you opportunities accordingly.
Are there any pre-requisites before I signup to volunteer?
This volunteer program is currently open only to the employees of L&T and its group companies. Anyone with an intent to share their knowledge and experience with the next generation is welcome to volunteer.
How often can I volunteer?
Once you register, our team will make sure that appropriate events come to you periodically. We will reach out to you in person via phone calls and emails for the same.
Can I volunteer for anything other than the options listed above?
Yes, simply tick the others check-box in the registration form and enter what you would like to volunteer for under the scope of education. Our team will then guide you with the right mapping.
Who will my target audience be?
All volunteering work is directed toward helping academia and students. In particular, we aim to help the graduating youth of India to discover, explore and learn subjects with greater scope and opportunities.
I am a fresher at L&T. Can I still volunteer?
As long as you have unique, interesting and innovative ideas/knowledge to share with students and young graduates, you are most welcome to volunteer with us.
As a site engineer or someone doing fieldwork, how can I contribute?
The younger generation requires much knowledge about industrial fieldwork to bridge their skill gaps. As someone who spends more time on the site, you can provide short/micro practical learning sessions to share your experience, walkthrough tutorials and demos.
I’m a Manager. What opportunities can I explore to volunteer?
As a manager, you can share knowledge and expertise in your domain area, talk about career growth and development, or create awareness about emerging technologies and trends in your field.
I am leading a team. Can we contribute knowledge/resources as a team?
That would be a terrific contribution! We are keen to work with you to develop some unique programs under this initiative. Please write to at anbuthambi.b@lntecc.com, so that we can discuss with you in detail and develop some highly impactful programs.
Do I have to make a long-term commitment to volunteer?
Not required, although we would be thrilled if you volunteered for the longer run.
Do I need to submit an application or a resume to volunteer?
You will have to register your basic details and areas of interest with us. There is no need to submit a resume unless specially asked to do so.
Can a group of colleagues volunteer together?
If your service demands that you volunteer as a group, please write to anbuthambi.b@lntecc.com, so that we can discuss with you in detail and develop some highly impactful programs.
What resources/setup do I need to deliver an expert session online or a webinar?
All you will need is a working laptop, a proper microphone and a good wi-fi connection.
Should I be an expert to deliver a session?
As long as you have something unique to share with the next generation of students, you are assured a place to volunteer and deliver expert sessions with us.
Where can I find existing expert sessions, webinars, blogs or podcasts to refer to?
You can find details on our website as and when uploaded.
Should I deliver expert sessions only on technical topics?
No, the only criterium is to provide profound value to the audience. You can discuss trends and ideas, offer career guidance, or talk about how to develop a skill that you predict would become mandatory in the near future.

Is it possible to record an expert session online?
Yes, you can either come to L&T EduTech to record your expert session or our team will help you record it online.
Can I deliver expert sessions on more than one topic/domain?
Yes, you can start with one area and discuss with our team about contributing to more areas.
Can I bring along an expert to help present a session?
Yes, you are most welcome. Just let us know in advance so that we can get things organized.
What resources/setup do I need to deliver an expert session online or a webinar?
All you will need is a working laptop, a proper microphone, a camera with good resolution and a good wi-fi connection.
Where can I see the sessions, webinars, blogs or podcasts that I have contributed towards?
You can find the details on our website as and when published.
How do you create a walk-through tutorial? Do I need any special gadgets?
A walk-through tutorial or demo can be as simple as recording a video with your phone to cover your activities for the day or what machinery you use and how they work. A good camera or mobile phone is all that you need. Be sure to add a commentary to the tutorial.
How do you intend for volunteers to mentor institutions and universities?
There is a nomination of experts from L&T into the Board of Studies and Academic Councils of autonomous institutions and deemed universities through which you would be able to offer your mentorship and guidance.
