The National Talent Hunt (NTH) 2024, an initiative by L&T EduTech aimed at empowering engineering graduates, has concluded on a high note. With over 8000 registrations from higher educational institutions across India, the event witnessed an impressive turnout from B.E and B.Tech students from all eight semesters.
Participation in the NTH was diverse, with students from 22 states across India taking part of which nearly 40% were female students. This widespread participation underscores the national significance and appeal of the event.
Circuit and core engineering streams, other engineering streams and department-wise categories saw enthusiastic participation. Tests were held in Civil, Computer Science/IT, Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical, offering students a chance to shine in their respective departments.
The NTH featured the NECT (National Engineering Competency Test), a diagnostic tool offered free of cost to the participants including engineering graduates from 2023 to 2025. This test gauged employability by assessing domain knowledge, cognitive skills, English communication and personal behaviour. It aimed to help students understand themselves and prepare for their careers effectively.
Participants in the NTH were entitled to perks, including free access to the NECT Diagnostic test, personalised employability reports and access to L&T EduTech’s exclusive platforms Skill Exchange and Micro-learning. Top performers earned certificates and placement support, while institutions received performance reports and recognition certificates.
The NTH 2024 has not only provided a platform for self-assessment and skill enhancement but has also fostered a spirit of healthy competition among engineering students nationwide. As we congratulate the winners and all the participants for their remarkable show of skill and knowledge, the success of this event serves as a testament to the dedication and talent within the engineering community.
