In a pioneering initiative to advance education in electric vehicle technology, L&T EduTech has partnered with the KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad, to introduce advanced specialisation programs in Electric Vehicles (EV) for Electrical and Mechanical Engineering students. This collaboration will establish a state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence (COE) on the KIET Campus, marking the first EV COE in North India set up by L&T EduTech.
The signing ceremony was attended by key representatives from both institutions. Representing the KIET Group of Institutions were Dr Manoj Goel, Joint Director; Ashish Karnwal, Head of the Mechanical Department; Dr Neeraj Kumar Gupta, Head of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department; and Prof Dr Vibhav Kumar Sachan, Dean of Research & Development and Head of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. From L&T EduTech, Ashish Mishra, Institutional Sales Regional Lead, and Saurabh Tiwari, Regional Manager, were present.
Dr Manoj Goel expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “This collaboration with L&T EduTech will provide our students with cutting-edge knowledge and skills in electric vehicle technology, preparing them to meet the demands of this rapidly growing industry.”
The Centre of Excellence will be equipped with the latest tools and technologies, offering students practical training and exposure to the latest advancements in the electric vehicle sector. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, ensuring that students are well-prepared to contribute to the evolving field of electric vehicles.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in the educational landscape of North India, setting a new benchmark for industry-integrated learning and specialisation in electric vehicle technology.
