Pilot Immersion offered to KPRIET, Coimbatore

A week-long pilot immersion program was offered at L&T’s Athikadavu-Avinashi Scheme Construction Site to the civil and mechanical engineering students of KPR Institute of Engineering & Technology, Coimbatore. They got the opportunity to be “immersed in a culture of doing engineering with industry engineers” in a mega project site and to interact and learn from the practicing experts of L&T.

The Athikadavu-Avinashi scheme is proposed to alleviate the plight of farmers in drought-prone areas of the Coimbatore, Tirupur and Erode districts by replenishing 32 PWD tanks, 42 panchayat union tanks and 971 ponds.
