According to a recent news report, in the pandemic-stricken 2020, more than 12,500 students committed suicide spiking the suicidal rates to 8.2%. Time to Think, directed by Stephen Joseph, is a multilingual movie that is to be released pan India. The movie focuses on the alarming era we live in, wherein suicidal tendencies have become common among youngsters. The commercial entertainer aims to raise social awareness against ‘Suicide – the Silent Pandemic.’
L&T EduTech has joined hands as the campaign sponsor to create a greater social impact for the movie. As a part of the campaign crew, L&T EduTech will help raise awareness among various colleges and through other mass public events across Chennai and other prime locations with the hashtag #SayLoud_NoToSuicide. Awareness campaigns and movie promotion events have already been conducted in colleges like Mar Baselios College of Engineering & Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, and Rajadhani Insititute of Engineering & Technology, Attingal.
