L&T EduTech wins ‘Emerging EdTech Start-Up’ at the Times Business Awards 2022
L&T EduTech has won the ‘Emerging EdTech Start-Up’ award in the IT & Allied Industry category at the prestigious Times Business Awards 2022. The award is a testimony to the robust solutions that L&T EduTech offers in bridging the skills gap between industry and academia across India.
Entrepreneur and actor Suniel Shetty presented the award to the L&T EduTech team, represented by Sabyasachi Das, Chief Executive Officer; M F Febin, Head – CollegeConnect Business; and Dr Anbuthambi B, Head – Strategy & Partnerships, in a star-studded event at the ITC Grand Chola, Chennai, on 27 September 2022. Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey graced the occasion along with several high-profile bureaucrats and industry leaders.
The Times Business Awards is organized by the Times of India Group to recognise top-performing businesses and entrepreneurs across varied fields. A two-part rigorous research is conducted by an independent research agency to select the awardees. L&T EduTech was selected for its industry-specific transformative programmes that help in narrowing down the industry–academia gap.
Since its inception in October 2021, L&T EduTech has partnered with several higher education institutes, state universities, corporates, and government agencies to offer practice-oriented learning through credit-based courses, minor degree programmes, certifications, industry immersions, and workshops in a blended mode of delivery, focused on core engineering and IT streams. Its micro-learning modules have been endorsed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the apex body for technology education in India. Its dynamic new graduate recruitment platform Skill Exchange has also carved a niche among corporates.
