L&T EduTech and Sri Sri University Partner to Enhance Employability

An agreement has been formalised between Sri Sri University, Bhubaneswar, a pioneering academic institution in India, and L&T EduTech, the edtech wing by Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) aimed at providing higher-education students with technical knowledge coupled with industry-driven, real-world experiences to strengthen their employability prospects.

As part of this collaboration, L&T EduTech is committed to establishing Centres of Excellence (COE) dedicated to next-generation e-mobility technology within Sri Sri University, Bhubaneswar. These centres will be operational starting from the 2024 academic year and will cater to students pursuing studies in Mechanical and Electrical engineering. The collaboration encompasses the provision of COE Labs, faculty training, lab manuals, hands-on training, project opportunities and a spirit of collaboration.

Upon successful completion of the electric vehicle (EV) integrated program, students will receive employment support from L&T, further enhancing their career prospects. Additionally, it is noteworthy that L&T and Sri Sri University will jointly offer integrated, industry-focused IT training programs to students enrolled in forthcoming sessions.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) formalising this partnership was signed on 6 October 2023, in the presence of Prof B R Sharma, Honourable Vice-Chancellor of Sri Sri University, and Sanjai Ranganathan, Chief Executive of L&T EduTech. Other dignitaries in attendance included Swami Satyachaitanya, Director of Operations and Prof (Dr) R N Satpathy, Dean of Emerging Technologies at Sri Sri University, and Sanjeev Sharma, JGM & Head of L&T Domestic Marketing Networks, and Saptarshi Shome, Branch Manager of L&T Bhubaneswar.
