L&T EduTech Signs Agreement with Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education & Research (DMIHER), Wardha

On 22 June 2023, an agreement was signed between L&T EduTech, a pioneer in industry-led engineering education in the Indian higher education space, and Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education & Research (Deemed to be University), Wardha. The purpose of this agreement is to establish a collaborative partnership in offering Integrated Bachelor of Vocational (B. Voc) Degree Programmes in Software Development and Cyber Security.

This collaboration is expected to provide students with comprehensive experience-based learning, combining academic expertise with industry-relevant training. The integration of practical training and industry exposure will enable students to develop essential skills, meet industry standards and enhance their employability prospects.

Dr KTV Reddy, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology; Dr Gaurav Mishra, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr Lalit Waghmare, Vice Chancellor; Dr Ved Prakash Mishra, Pro-Chancellor; Dr Shweta Kale Pisulkar, Registrar; Sagar Meghe, Principal Advisor; and Dr Chetan Chaudhary, Director B. Voc from DMIHER were present at the signing along with Lt Cmd Amit Chaurasia, DMN, Nagpur and Akhilesh Rakshe, L&T EduTech, GTM, Nagpur.

This is the first ever B. Voc programme being rolled out by L&T EduTech in collaboration with DMIHER, which marks a significant step towards bridging the gap between industry and academia, and provide students with valuable skills, enhancing their career prospects and contributing to the growth of the technology industry.
