On 15 February 2023, L&T EduTech hosted an exclusive roundtable on ‘Industry Integration for Arts & Science Institutions’ in Coimbatore. Academic leaders from various arts and science colleges discussed and deliberated on solutions towards bridging the existing skills gap in the arts, science and commerce streams in higher education institutes.

This conference was in continuation with L&T EduTech’s ongoing efforts towards creating an industry-relevant higher education ecosystem in India. It brought together leaders from industry and academia in and around Coimbatore on a single platform to discuss the critical employability and skilling issues faced by students in general streams. Studies show that all over the world companies increasingly struggle to find people with the right skills in the right numbers and at the right times. To address this issue, all the stakeholders shared their experiences and insights and tried to come up with ways in which industry-relevant skill-building initiatives can be part of the regular curriculum.
