L&T EduTech and Takshashila University to Offer Integrated Finance Program

Villupuram, 3 July 2024 – L&T EduTech has partnered with Takshashila University to introduce an Integrated Program in Practitioner’s Approach to Finance Essentials for B.Com students. This initiative signifies a pivotal step in integrating industry and academic partnerships, aimed at empowering commerce students with practical knowledge and making them industry-ready.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on 3 July 2024, at Takshashila University in Ongur, Villupuram District. The dignitaries present at the event included Dr Subramaniyan, Dean of Academic Affairs at Takshashila University; Dr (Prof) S Senthil, Registrar at Takshashila University; Deepa Cartikeyan, Dean of the School of Arts and Science at Takshashila University; Prof Dr Vivek Inder Kochhar, Vice Chancellor of Takshashila University; Supha Lakshmi, Professor & Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Takshashila University; Hema Chandrasekaran, Deputy General Manager at L&T EduTech; Karthik R, Executive – Arts & Science at L&T EduTech.

During the signing ceremony, Hema Chandrasekaran highlighted the significance of this collaboration, stating, “This partnership is a landmark move towards equipping students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to excel in the finance industry. By combining academic learning with industry insights, we are paving the way for the future success of our students.”

Dr Subramaniyan expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, “We are excited to partner with L&T EduTech to offer this integrated program. It will provide our students with a comprehensive understanding of finance essentials, preparing them to meet the demands of the industry.”

The program is designed to provide students with practical, hands-on experience in finance, enhancing their employability and readiness for real-world challenges. Through this partnership, L&T EduTech and Takshashila University aim to create pathways for student success and foster a new generation of industry-ready professionals.
