This course provides an insight into the identification, handling, and use of materials, tools, and equipment. The responsibilities also include identification, straightening, marking, and cutting of rebar, tying reinforcement for prefabricated cages and in-situ using hand tools.

What you will learn
- Identifying, shifting, and stacking materials, tools, and equipment relevant to reinforcement works
- Elaborations on a safe environment, health, and safe working places while handling rebar
- Tying reinforcement bar using different types of ties
- Erecting and dismantling a temporary scaffold that is 3.6m in height
- Identifying, marking, and cutting reinforcement bars to the required length
- Assisting in adhering to specific standards of dimensional accuracy to gauge, level, plumb, and range within given tolerances
