You will have to undergo hands-on practical exposure at a training provider through the State Skill Development Mission or L&T training partners.
An individual assigned with the role of a Consumer Energy Meter Technician performs basic installation, reads and understands single-phase and three-phase meters, in line with energy providers’ standards and policies.
This position requires minimum work supervision skills, as the job duties are mostly performed at the work site. The job responsibilities may also include attending to customers’ breakdown complaints and requests, repairing and servicing faulty equipment, checking the wiring system, etc.
This program is aimed at training candidates for the job of a Consumer Energy Meter Technician in the power industry and aims at building key competencies amongst the learners.
