Program Overview
This program is crafted to help aspiring civil and structural engineers gain a deep understanding of the schematic design process and structural analysis of reinforced concrete buildings. Using industry-standard software tool—ETABS—participants will explore the complete workflow from conceptual design to detailed analysis and element design. The program also covers load calculation, lateral stability systems, rebar detailing as per IS codes, and prepares learners to confidently work on real-world multistorey building projects.
Program Objectives
RCC Design Basics
Understand the design basis, including functional requirements, durability aspects, and material selection for multistorey RCC buildings.
Load Calculations
Develop skills to calculate all applicable loads such as dead, live, superimposed, service, wind, and seismic loads as per IS standards.
Structural Systems
Learn to select structural systems (both vertical and lateral) for optimum safety and performance.
ETABS Modeling
Gain expertise in modeling and analyzing RCC buildings using ETABS with industry-relevant workflows.
Ductile Detailing
