This program will start with need for energy storage technologies and take us to various technologies available for storage of reliable renewable power in the form of Electrochemical Storage, Battery Storage, Thermal Energy Storage, Compressed Air Energy Storage, Liquid Air Energy Storage, Pumped Hydro Storage, Mechanical Storage. The program will provide a comprehensive understanding of battery technology and its sizing calculations. Further, the program will highlight on green energy storage technology and its future outlook in India and the world.

Mr. Jembu Kailas KK
Lead Subject Matter Expert - Electrical & Electronics – L&T EduTech
KK Jembu Kailas is a Lead SME in Electrical and Electronics at L&T Edutech. He has over 36 years of experience in power system engineering, industrial electrification and electrical substation engineering. Jembu Kailas earned his BE degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Jembu Kailas has extensive experience in electrical design; testing and commissioning; maintenance, execution and planning of building projects; industrial projects and substation projects. He has overseen several large-scale projects including the concept to commissioning of hotel projects in Russia, aviation fuel system project for KAFCO in Kuwait, and Oman Oil Tanking project in Muscat. Jembu Kailas has presented several conference papers on topics related to power systems, insulation coordination studies, energy efficiency and harmonic mitigation techniques. He has also conducted training programmess for graduate engineer trainees and site engineers at L&T for ten years. Kailas has received several awards and recognitions including the Best Innovation Award from L&T PT&D in 2021 and runner-up for the Risk Mitigation Award in 2018 from the L&T Risk Management team.
