Specialization Overview

This advanced specialisation course in EV technology for Mechanical and Automobile Engineers is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles. The course covers a range of topics from the basics of electric vehicles to advanced mechanical design, development and analysis, along with data analytics and cybersecurity. The course focuses on Automotive Mechanics for Electric Vehicles and covers the principles of automotive engineering and vehicle dynamics concerning electric vehicles. Sketching, modelling and simulation techniques using SolidWorks and MSC Adams software, designing and simulating electric vehicles using MATLAB are also covered. Upon completion of this specialisation course, students will have a deep understanding of electric vehicle technology, along with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, develop and analyse electric vehicles using the latest tools and techniques.
